Lynn Whitfield scares me.

Audra could do it. Audra could SO do it. McDonald + Streep = Too much to handle.

My favorite screen actress and my favorite actress of all time, might cause me to go into fits of hysteria.

Audra's not immediately right for the part, like say Bassett is, but Audra would make it work, and make it brilliant.

I like the idea of Bassett though. She reminds me of Lennox.

I think if they showed Donald interacting with the other boys it might work, or perhaps seeing him with Fr. Flynn comforting him in a long shot from Aloysius' pov might work. But to have extended scenes? No.
And please, not Audra. Mrs. Muller should have just a bit of an edge that Audra lacks.

I totally agree with you, best. But IF they must show him, make it quick and only in a long shot. Don't give him a scene, don't show him at home, and DO NOT show him alone with Fr. Flynn.

I'm just very, very excited about Amy Adams. She truly is one of the best up and coming talents the younger generation has to offer.
