Yesterday I made a couple of posts that were rightly questioned by other posters. I'm only posting this on the main board because that's where the aforementioned posts were made.
I made some ridiculous comment about Liz Callaway that referenced mid-westerners. Why did I do this? I don't know. maybe because I had talked earlier with someone from Kansas and was perturbed. Whatever the reason, it was uncalled for and a baseless unwarranted slander.
Also, I went off on some hyperbolic rant about something. Why did I do this? I don't know. Sometimes I'm in a particular frame of mind that sets me up to have inappropriate reactions to things.
In the end, what it all means is - shock, surprise - I'm not always level-headed and certainly not nearly as sensitive as I should be. For anyone who was angered or offended by my remarks, I appologize.
Stay tuned, because I'm sure that despite my best efforts, I will once again say something that will cause someone to question my sanity (hopefully not sooner than later!)

Very noble of you, dear. And don't worry, we all go insane from time to time around here.
dgrant, we love you and forgive whatever you said. we all have slip ups like that sometimes, and it's very cool of you to apoligize. i didn't catch any of your rants, but i can identify with what you're saying, in a way. sometimes i can be very silly and sometimes i get so self-concious i can't put coherent sentences together. whatever the case, we're glad to have you here on the board. now... what did that person in kansas say that ticked you off?
D- you are the most level-headed BWW'er so you are allowed to have one off day.

DG, I'm in absolutely no position to cast stones here. *cough* And even if I was, I wouldn't want to. You're usually one of the most sensible and intelligent posters on the board, and one day of irrationality doesn't negate all that.
well, it's about time that you started taking responsibility for some of the behavior that's been driving hordes of posters in tears to the lithium. i for one applaud your decision to "do the hard thing" and take your medicine like a man. it's a difficult thing sometimes, but trust me, in the long run you're better for it as it is no longer there to slowly eat at the wall of your stomach like a particularly heinous ulcer tunneling slowly toward your belly button. that said, i will fight you to the death in a duel using those tiny paper unbrellas used in singapore slings the next time you go off half-cocked at midwesterners, mister left coast. i hope you realize that this post hurts me a lot more than it hurts you, douggie.
how noble of you...
but I agree with jacob..
there are SO many more people who should be apologizing on a daily basis.....

Well when you write an apology like that, who can resist accepting it???!

You're a genuinely sweet man, DGrant.
I'm sorry, Douglas. The scales have fallen from my eyes, the bloom is off the rose. I couldn't be more disillusioned, and I'll just have to marry someone else to get my green card.
I didn't even think that what he said was bad...
I forgive you DGrant. Not sure I can forgive you for leaving me off your Valentine's list.
Oh Dougie!
You are allowed to make mistakes, and you shouldn't have to apologize for making a slightly off-colour comment. I make more of those in an hour then you do per day (I think). After all, everyone is a little bit prejudiced, right? But either way, you are forgiven. I'll see you soon when I come over to watch movies!
Oh PLEASE!!! Midwesterners should be tagged for migratory purposes and carefully scrutinized so they don't over-breed.
I'm totally kidding.
Sure you are
Cheerio, my good man!
You crack my sh*t up, robbiej.
Thank God I'm from the South!
Only occasionally insane-- wow on this Board that like qualifies u for sainthood!
