Delayed previews
I'm vaguely reminded of Amour and DOTV
I hope it's not a sign

This show just won't open, will it; I'll have gray hair by the time it does.

Posted: 7/29/04 at 4:47amDon't be fooled. I have faith in this one. I think a lot of people will be very surprised. Broadway needs a new hit. God knows WICKED is getting old...

Well if David keeps up NOTHING will happen. Can't that grumpy ghost just give us a chance! What could possibly be so bad about a Wildhorn musical? (LOL)

Posted: 7/29/04 at 2:35pmI just get the feeling this will be Wildhorn's Broadway hit. The critics will probably give mixed reviews on the book and score as they do with anything that isn't unique or innovative, but I think overall, it will do well. It already sounds like they got the production values right on this one (unlike Jekyll and Hyde). I think a commercial concept recording with a ton of marketing, like Jekyll and Hyde received, would have been beneficial, but with no other dramatic blockbusters on the Broadway horizon at the moment, it could be perfect timing for Dracula as a commercial success, at least.

Enjoy? I'm TERRIFIED. Considering the postponements, i'm afraid that-
1- a flying human bat will drop on my head
2- i'll drown in a river of blood-tainted water or
3- the lights won't work, the entire theater remains dark and Melissa Errico tries to smooch me (that wouldn't be too bad, of course).
