Um..I just watched the video clip of Dracula on bway.com and the music that it played at the beginning is the same as the beginning of the song 'the Glory' from the Civil War. Did he reuse his stuff?? Or were they just playing other Wildhorn music?
The four bars of music you're talking about are the same as in The Glory. He reused it. The Civil War is the best music Frank ever wrote so I have no problem reliving it. Updated On: 10/15/04 at 12:12 AM
I think the scarlet pimpernel too
Jule Styne kept reusing melodies show after show after show. If it is good, why not ?
Right. It't not like anyone besides us is going to notice.
Wait a minute. Was that same piece of music in Pimpernel too? I don't think so. There alsoways something similar with Wildhorn but I don't it was the same.
for me most frank wildhorn sounds the same. but not in a terrible way, its just very distinct.
Just let me say, that I got to go to NYC for only 36 hours this year, and I got to see only one show. The fact that I chose "Dracula" makes me very sad.
aww. im sorry Baritone. I weep for you.
Pimpernel was good. Jekyll and Hyde good. Dracula...not his best work.
All of Frank's music sounds like the same style, yes. But that makes sense since that's what hes good at writing. None of the melodies though sound the same if that's what you mean.
