I hear that PBS is supposed to air it but every schedule I looked at doesnt show it airing, including the PBS that covers NYC. Anyone know what is going on with this?

There is usually a big window on the main page. It's not there yet, but it will guide you to the webcast.

So I assume the live webcast won't be... not-live at any point? I'm on a plane for the whole time it's going on!

It's a streaming webcast, that has had it's share of glitches and freezes in the past -- the picture has disappeared and the sound has gone out and you have to reload. Perhaps they've fixed that this year (the site has been known to get overwhelmed with too many users trying to watch). Too bad NY1 doesn't carry it anymore.

Dang, maybe I shouldn't have brought this up! Should we delete the thread and keep it our little secret?
I think it starts at 8:00 eastern time, is that right?

Is there an independent auditing house like the Oscars used to have Price Waterhouse to oversee the counting of the ballots and to make sure there aren't any "irregularities?"
Or are the DDs still as big a joke as the Golden Globes used to be until they started to televise them?
