So according the the website, the cut-off date for Drama Desk nominations is 4/22. Now, that being said, do shows have to have opened before this date to be considered or do they have to just be in previews by then? If they have to be open, then LoveMusik, Deuce, 110 in the Shade, Radio Golf, Coram Boy, and Legally Blonde won't be considered for Drama Desk awards. Is this true?

Posted: 4/5/07 at 6:12pmI think I read somewhere that the show has to at least be in previews, and willing to invite drama desk folks to a preview before the cut off date. Tarzan could have been eligible for drama desk last year, but they didn't invite anyone to their previews, so they are up this year. I'm no expert, though, just putting in my two cents! :O)
