Dream Revival Show

An Anyone Can Whistle revival would be nice, though I doubt it will happen, mostly because Sondheim probably wouldn't support a revival (word is, he's not fond of the show). Peters seems more suited (but probably to old now) as Fay, a role she did in concert.

I hope this London Guys and Dolls transfers with McGregor, although I don't think Krakowski is ideal for Adelaide (and neither is the over-rated, often annoying Kerry Butler).

Pajama Game is ripe for revival, but I worry what it will look like in Kathleen Marshalls mediocre hands. HOpefully that will happen.

I doubt Damn Yankees will see Broadway in the next 10 years, due to the mediocre revival it got in 93.

I'm sure Roundabout will visit Sunday in the Park in a few years, hopefully with Raul Esparza and Melissa Ericco, again. I'd also like to see Passion get a re-birth, and I'm sure that's a likely roundabout choice, in say, 5 or 10 years.

Raul and Melissa were so so so amazing in "Sunday" in DC...like I said before, it was like sex.

I'd love an "Anyone Can Whistle" revival with Emily Skinner as Fay Apple. Bernie was wonderful as Fay in concert with the late Madeline Kahn as Cora, but now she's the ideal age for Cora.

I'll say it first, cuz I know some of you will say it: Emily may be too young for Fay, but her voice will be perfect for the role.

Sorry My Fair Lady, but if they do Into the Woods again, I get to be Little Red Riding Hood.

I'm with chess12. The reworked version of that show, which recently played in Sweden, desperately deserves a Broadway run!

Carrie with a modern and funky cast! and Lippa's Wild Party... with original cast! maybe chuck Kristin Chenoweth and Carloee Carmello into either of them!

What do you guys think about a Broadway revival of Miss Saigon with Jennifer Paz as Kim, Faith Hill as Ellen, and Cary Shields as Chris? I think that cast would be awesome!

I want to see a Pippin revival with basically the entire cast from the World Aids Day concert. Or at least with Michael Arden as Pippin.

This thread is called DREAM revival casts, and what cast is horrible, the one I suggested or the closing Broadway. Jennifer Paz was up to par with Lea as Kim, Cary Shields has one of the best male tenor voices on Broadway currently and Faith Hill could definitely pull off Ellen.
