With the announcement of Kelli O'Hara's first solo Carnegie Hall concert (https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Tony-Winner-Kelli-OHara-to-Make-Solo-Carnegie-Hall-Debut-During-2016-17-Season-Full-Lineup-Set-20160126), I started wondering what songs I'd pick for her to sing if I had that power.

Off the top of my head, here are a few songs I'd LOVE her to sing: Another Suitcase In Another Hall (Evita), Unusual Way (Nine), Christmas Lullaby (Songs For A New World), Come To My Garden (The Secret Garden), My White Knight (The Music Man), and Out Of My Dreams (Oklahoma).

What are some of your "dream" songs for her setlist?!

I would love to hear Kelli O'Hara's interpretation of "My Shot" and "Cabinet Battle #1" from HAMILTON.

Probably "And I Am Telling You" from DREAMGIRLS too.

I didn't think of Ragtime, but holy hell she would kill that song. Couldn't agree more! As for Climb Ev'ry Mountain, I'm not sure any one will be able to top Audra's brilliant performance, but I'd be intrigured to hear her version! (and yes to both of the other ones!!!)

Actually, she has shown off her hip-hop skills at one of the old Ham4Hams, so your top idea isn't that far-fetched haha!

First, since Kelly said in an interview that her favorite composer was Jerome Kern, and I've never heard her do anything he wrote, she should sing some Kern. But not "All the Things You Are," because every female vocalist has recorded that song, most recently Kristin Chenoweth. Maybe another ballad almost as good, like "Long Ago and Far Away," or "Look for the Silver Lining" or the more upbeat "Who."

Then I would love to see her perform that tour de force from her latest album, "They Don't Let You in the Opera (If You're a Country Star)." It's hysterical enough just hearing her sing the song, and if she added some physical humor to the performance it would bring down the house.

Hopping on the Grey Gardens like the poster above...I just saw Christine Ebersole in concert and I was reminded how much I adore 'Will You'. I think she would sound marvelous with that song! I also love the Jerome Kern suggestions.
