It COULD be PG-13, depending on how Condon handles the material. There is an unwed mother as a main character. And Curtis enters the "underground world of crime" in the music business. Other than showing us how payola works, I don't think it's going to turn into The Godfather, with mafia hits or anything. Who knows? We'll just have to see. But I don't see a PG-13 coming from the original source material.

Yeah, I think a few of the cast members were fawning over Fantasia. It absolutely cracked me up when someone else ended up getting cast. "Uh, yeah...she's great, too. Yeah!"
