WOW! I just saw the post about Goodspeed's upcoming production of Dreamgirls this cast is insane. Could this be the production that transfers to New York? I cannot wait to see it. Already bought my ticket.

It’s a pretty middle of the road regional theatre cast & creative team. That doesn’t mean it will be a bad production, but I highly highly doubt this has any Broadway aspirations. It’s a co-production with McCarter Theater. Goodspeed’s current production The 12 arguably has a more buzzy cast.
Is Sonia Friedman still the commercial rightsholder of DREAMGIRLS?
