Atlanta Theater Of The Stars, along with Cameron Mackintosh is producing an equity tour of Les Mis. IT stars Rob Evan as Valjean, Rob Hunt as Javert, and Nikki Renee Daniels as Fantine. We are previwing here in West point tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon. We then head down to Wolftrap outside DC, and then To Kansas City to play Starlite, and then the over to Atlanta to play the Fox. We are running till the end of September. I may be wrong, but the NetWorks Tour, I believe is in a holding pattern for now.
Neverandy your right. I remember that when I was having a coffee in the lobby before going into the house there were ads on a TV that showed the upcoming shows. The Wedding Singer was on that list as was a non equity tour of The Producers.
I know that all he shows that they have coming up are equity. Legally Blonde, Phantom, Avenue Q, A Chorus Line and Drowsy. I know that all those shows are equity because none of them have gone and done a non equity tour yet. I am sure that Drowsy is going non equity. I am under the impression that its stint at The Bushell is going to happen before the tour goes non eq.

BobbBubby is right. It will go non-equity after the November run in Seattle.
Yes, it has been said in a few interviews that the Equity Tour ends in Seattle. This is what the Actors in the show are saying to us also. Many of the touring performers have contracts that are coming up and they are moving on because of this. Expect more players to leave in the next two months. Only a few key performers are being offered extensions of their contracts to work until Seattle. Every show after San Francisco was an extension of the original tour.
It hasn't been announced who will replace Nancy Opel, Marla Mindle and Fran officially. Robert Dorfman's understudy has been onstage without a hitch in SF. The same is true for James Moye as well. These changes were why I felt the San Diego date was added for only a weeks time. I read it was Casey Nicolaw's neighborhood, so it made sense to me that he would use his theater to introduce the new performers for the rest of the Tour.
I'm curious to find out too who will replace Nancy and Fran? One of the understudies might take over for Kitty but I have no idea who will play those other parts now? I guess I'll find out when the show comes back from vacation to San Diego? I'm going to see it one more time in Sacramento before it leaves us here for good. Lot's of good up and coming singers so it will be interesting to see others singing these parts. Though those four are already being missed. The Tour had a very entertaining group of performers and we really enjoyed them all.
Has the person playing Janet Van Der Graff changed at all?
