Just saw Drowsy Chaperone this weekend at the Ahmanson Theatre in LA. To add to all the chatter here about it, it's great fun - GO SEE IT!

I also just noticed that they've put up videos on the web site (though you have to click through several things on the Ahmanson web site to find it). There's great footage of Sutton Foster in her big number, plus some fun bits from the opening song and the big Act 1 finale. Here's a direct link:

Fantastic footage!

I'm really excited about this musical. And wow, Sutton really goes off!

So, in the video it says that its going directly to Broadway - and now that In My Life is closing...how long till its announced.

I remember a recent thread about triple-threats and a lot of people were saying Sutton shouldn't be on the list because she's not a strong enough dancer. I always thought she was a true triple-threat and the video sort of supports that theory. . . .AND she does all those one-handed cartwheels with a cast on one arm. Amazing!
