Is anyone else going to see this? I have gotten myself a ticket for tomorrow night =). Seeing this in the West End is still a massive highlight for me and I can't wait to see the show again! Hope it turns out to be a good production.
I completely forgot to post about it on this board! I seem to have posted everywhere else lol.
I really loved it. There were a few little things to sort out but it was only the second preview. The staging in general was very good. The main things I disliked was how they did Trix, the aviatrix at the beginning (was kinda funny in her second appearance) and how they added in an interval, completely ruined the flow of the show.
The cast overall were very very good. The show is one of my all time favourites and I was not disappointed. Definitely want to go again towards the end of the run.
The "Message from a Nightingale" section has to be one of the funniest moments in any musical. And also '...While you can'. I had forgotten how fabulous of a show it is. Great music, great book, great all round.
