Is Edward Scissorhands, just a ballet or is their speaking as well? I'm pretty sure it's not a musical...I'm just not sure if it's a astraight ballet or if their is speaking as well....

It's all ballet and pantomime...no dialogue.

Thanks! I'll skip it in SF. I hate mimes.

It's not a mime act!
This just has no words. The story is conveyed in gestures and dance. But there are no mimes.
Many of Matthew Bourne's shows are more like Broadway dancing that tells a story, as opposed to a straight up classical ballet. This one looks far too coloful and fun to pass up.
I've been impressed with nearly every work of his that I've seen down here in LA. (Was disappointed with 'Nutcracker' but that was really the only one).

I can't wait for this - Bourne's Swan Lake was beautiful when I saw it here in San Francisco.

I shall remain mum on mimes.
