ELF student rush

Has anybody done student rush for ELF lately? Just wondering how crazy it's been...a couple of college kids I know are in town on Wednesday and really want to see it, but sadly the $160 is out of the question for them.

Would they be okay getting to the theater about an hour before the box office opens?

Yeah, I got them minutes before the show started. But they are 42 dollars. It hurt me!

Apparently they don't offer rush tickets on some days (mostly the BIG show days like weekend days). It just depends on whether they have any available. If you're going on a weekday though, you should be all right if you get there early enough.
