What seats do they normally reserve for this Gold Card presale stuff? Does anyone know?
I'm going to try to get tickets Saturday but I thought I might hold off until regular tickets go on sale since I didn't know where these presale seats might be and I might get a better seat when they all go on sale. (maybe?)

Posted: 4/9/08 at 11:01pmThey usually reserve some good seats for Amex Gold Cardholders. When I got Les Mis tix, I got the front row center (or they offered loge front row), and for Company I got 4th or 5th row from the stage.

Posted: 4/11/08 at 5:15pmSomeone said on here that Three Days of Rain sold out during the pre-sale. So is that true? If it is, what makes everyone think that this won't sell out during the pre-sale. Also does anyone know if the on-stage seats will still be available when the tickets go on sale to everybody.

I believe that it is possible for the pre-sale allotment to sell out, but it's not all of the seats in the house (it happens often with big concerts, etc.). That could be what was meant by Three Days of Rain selling out during presale.

<< So I'd give it a shot on Saturday if you have an AMEX card. >>
Either Amex card should work tomorrow (Sat) for the presale.

If it opens to reasonably respectable reviews (and I have no reason to think it wont), even more people will be keyed up to see it. I would think the surest way to get a decent ticket would be during the doldrums months of January and February. Remember what a mess it was to get a ticket to The Odd Couple several years back -- run was completely sold out for its announced run before the show even started previews. Only when it extended did the man in the street have a chance to get a ticket (full price). And it wasn't even a good production. So, add it all up: good play; potentially good critical reaction; a movie star; and frontal male nudity. What a combination!!!!!

<< Meaning you don't need the Gold one?
>>
The Telecharge website states that there is Gold Card seating available, but the presale specifically states its an "Amex" presale--- does not mention the Gold Card. (as far as the presale tickets)

No prob !!! And if it DOES turn out that its for Amex Gold only, the 800 number (I dont want to post it for fear of thread getting deleted--- I dont know if its allowed) is easy to find on Google :))
That would be the presale code.
