I don't even categorize Evil Dead as "stupid humor". Seems to me it may have gone over your head.

Please take note that the dialogue mentioned in my review in which my friend used the word "amazing" in reference to EVIL DEAD: The Musical was solely based on the fact that this was the first show he had been given the opportunity to see in 3 1/2, years, and him being a fan of hilarity 'round every-which-corner (ie: the laughs provided by this production). So please, let me reassure you, dear poster, that I DO 'get out' ... quite a lot. Forgive me for 'enjoying myself' and treating a dear friend to a fun, fun, FUN evening at the theatre.
