Say what you will about the accuracy, relevancy, or sheer lack of importance that some of these moments have in the big scheme of all things Tony -- it's still nice to get as much exposure to the entertainment industry as possible!

ACL and Chicago, oh the irony!

It is nice. Though it speaks to how much of a broadway nerd I am that I know Daisy Eagan isn't the youngest ever; it's the kid who played young Patrick in Mame...

You're talking about Frankie Michaels.
That list is worthless.

Jennifer Holliday's performance didn't really set her "And I Am Telling You" as the definitive version, IMO.

Edit: Wait, no, this is worse: "Despite the critical plaudits, sell-out crowds, and visual dazzle, people still expected the more traditional Ragtime to prevail in 1998."

Ragtime didn't deserve to win just because it was more "traditional," IMO. Ugh.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

Where's Michael Jeter winning for "Grand Hotel"? That speech was by far one of the greatest Tony moments.

I agree, i was mad they didnt include Michael Jeter's Speech. It was one of the most heart turning speeches.
