The "Sorry you didn't win" message left off those words. There was a quick "Sorry for the error" message sent as well...once a few people clicked on the link and were taken to the buy full price tickets page. I was ok with it...turns out I had something else to do that night. But my guess is there were people who weren't.

I wonder how many of those 400 people were doubles like me. My friend and I wanted to go together so we each put in our emails to double our chances and I also put my mom's email in as well. And none of us won. Maybe they saw that three people from the same town entered and said "Oh, no you don't" lol

I got an e-mail saying I won the lottery, I then clicked the link to claim the tickets and it said they didn't have anymore left. What gives?

I thought if I had won the tickets then I had won them. I didn't realize there was a race involved as well!

When you do a lottery for tickets you win the chance to buy them not the tickets themselves. There were only 50 tickets available for the lottery and over 400 people signed up.
