If you're looking for Broadway, Something Rotten is great! So fun, especially if you see a lot of theatre. If you're into Off-Broadway I saw Ruthless, which was fun, but I LOVED Daddy Long Legs! The story, and the music too, is so beautiful! Definitely a show not to miss. I think they do rush, or you can try a site called Your Broadway Genius...they sometimes have Broadway shows too!

School of Rock isn't an option anymore with no Sunday eve show... And I was still hesitant; not sure if I could take Brightman's manic Jack Black-ing for 2+ hours. Might be a "catch on tour" show.
Also still not sold on Sleep No More; for every "you'll probably love it", I've heard just as many similar to Muscle's reaction. It's been punted the last 4-5 trips, and might happen again this time.

Color Purple does Sun night shows and is by far the best show on Broadway now.

Saw "Something Rotten" in November... Really wanted to like it, but thought it waaaay overused the referential humor. Thought it was kinda lazy. Fun in parts, but just felt pummeled by it.

Loved the original CP book, and the movie is one of my favorites. Just can't get excited by the show though. I know this new revision is supposed to be great though... Hoping it's filmed perhaps.

Tickets for "Dear Evan Hansen" go on sale tomorrow, and there's a Sunday eve show, so that might take the final slot. Haven't seen much about it recently on BWW, but a friend clued me in.

Anyone know how long American Psycho is? Thought I remember hearing it was a shorter, maybe one-act show but can't find where I read that. Possibly gonna try a late-night Sleep No More after if AS isn't too long.

Folks should be able to tell you after tonight's first show but it appears the original London run is listed at 2hr 40m inclusive of 20m intermission.
What shows did you end up choosing ultimately?

My fiancé and I will be there on the same weekend as you.
We're seeing: She Loves Me on 4/1 night, Shuffle Along on 4/2 mat, Hamilton on 4/2 evening. I'd like to try Waitress for 4/3 matinee, but there are only premium seats left, so I want to see if they do rush and how. I wasn't aware that Color Purple has a Sunday evening show, but I think we might just do that! We also have the Light In The Piazza reunion concert on Monday night, 4/4. Very excited!

American Psycho for Friday eve, The Crucible for Saturday matinee, She Loves Me for Saturday eve, Fiddler on the Roof for Sunday matinee, and Dear Evan Hansen for Sunday eve. However, after hearing less than great things about Crucible, I sold the tix on Stubhub and am looking for a Saturday matinee alternate. ![]()
EDIT: Got tix for "Waitress" for the Saturday matinee slot. Didn't have two non-$250+ seats together, but got discount $99 ones directly with one directly in front of the other.
