Eden Espinosa

Does anyone else feel like her voice is just amazing? She's such a great performer. I also feel like Brooklyn the Musical was ripped off for some Tony nominations-->Especially for Best Music.

re: Eden Espinosa

I saw her as Elphaba in Wicked last summer. I was disappointed that Idina Menzel was out, but having nothing to compare her to, I thought Ms. Espinosa did a great job.

At curtain call, Kristin stepped aside and let Eden get a solo standing O.

She's talented, no doubt. She won't be returning to Wicked, but I doubt she'll have trouble finding another job soon enough.

re: Eden Espinosa

Eden is a talented, powerful performer with an unbelievable voice. When I went [to brooklyn] last Sunday, she said she wants to take a short [tiny] break. I hope she doesn't! I know she's getting [and will get] a lot of new offers.

re: Eden Espinosa

I think she has an amazing voice, but needs to be more careful with it if she intends to have a long career in singing.

re: Eden Espinosa

eden has a fantastic set of pipes! when i went to wicked last summer, idina started the show and then at the end of intermission they made an announcement that she wouldnt be continuing the show. my friend and i were pissed, but when eden came out she blew us away. we were instant fans. but, we went to see brooklyn, and were very disappointed. despite her fantastic performance, (once upon a time is a great song) i was soooo bored. i hope she gets a good show soon because she deserves it.

re: Eden Espinosa

She was good until she SCREECHED. She hit an AWFUL sharp note and I almost started crying. Keep it low Eden.

true true. dangerous to wear glasses to that show, at the risk they crack into bits.

re: Eden Espinosa

I saw Eden's first night going on for Elphaba and was so completely blown away by her performance that she was one of the only two reasons I went to see Brooklyn (the other being Cleavant Derricks)

re: Eden Espinosa

Eden Espinosa has such an amazing, huge, powerful voice! You would never guess that it would come out of someone so tiny! I thought it was so unfair that they did not nominate her at the tonys, especially when a few in the best actress and featured really didn't really need to be there.

re: Eden Espinosa

I thought Eden is a very talented singer too. Brooklyn as a whole I can do without. I would have loved to see Eden's take on Elphaba though.

re: Eden Espinosa

Eden's a good performer with alot of great talent and I really enjoy hearing her. Didn't much like Brooklyn but she's still got a great voice nonetheless.

re: Eden Espinosa

Eden is a wonderful performer. I can see her wanting to take a small break and come back to the West Coast for a bit. It would be great if she did a few shows out here. We definitly miss her talent.

re: Eden Espinosa

I was actually disappointed in Clevant Derricks in the show. I thought he was really stuggling through most of it. To the point where you could tell he was really pushing himself to get the higher notes out. As for Eden being Elphaba--- She sounded awesome! I saw her and Idina and loved them both eqaually but I am truly of fan of Eden.

re: Eden Espinosa

While I thought Brooklyn was absolutely horrid, I have to say I loved Eden in Wicked. Of the three Elphabas Ive seen (Idina, Eden, and Shoshana) she by far was my favorite. Her sound is tremendous and she gave Elphaba a real heart that I didn't see in the others.
And hang on, when did you win the discus?

I love Edens voice, it really touches my soul.
