Eden Espinosa is one of my favorite Broadway stars but, I haven't heard much of her since BKLYN and her stint in Wicked (in which she played one of the best Elphabas to date...) But, does anyone know what shes doing now? Ive heard she was participating in some benefit things here and there but will she being doing any shows soon? I kind of thought she might play in The Little Mermaid but, she's not (thank the lord..)

Espinosa is currently headlining the Los Angeles company of "Wicked." She is contracted for six months out there and will (I assume) move on to her next project after that.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Another question thats totally unrelated to the topic. Whens the Pirate Queen Cast Recording to be released? I really would love to hear how much has changed since the Chicago stint...

I love Eden, too! I can't wait to see what she does next in NY!

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

I hope she does some work that is more in the legit type of singing. I have heard that she has a good operatic soprano but nothing has been recorded of her showing it off.
