How unfortunate...
I love the rather uncommon picture they used.

That green screen affect Defying Gravity picture reminds me of this one. :)

So mush for the final Los Angeles performance being her LAST EVER LOL!

A lot of Elphabas have pictures taken on that background.

^ During Defying Gravity, I mean.
Interesting...can she not get work? They could have just bumped Vicki, but I love Eden so it's fine.

Eden is getting bank for the role now so I don't blame her, but I'm betting she is having trouble getting work.
I wonder if they really think this will boost sales enough to justify whatever she’s getting paid.

Well she turned down HAIR due to pay, right?
^ And Les Miz too I heard.

I mean, I guess I can see why she would if Wicked is still paying her good money and I'm sure it's a great role for any woman to play, but you'd think she'd be getting bored with it.
How much do you think she's getting paid?

The Wicked fan in me is going crazy at the thought of Eden and Kendra opposite each other.
I loved!!! Eden was amazing when I saw her in 2006 (or 2007) on Broadway. Kendra. Its enough. You have been with Wicked for too long.

My guess is $10K / week, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is more. Wicked can afford it.

Have you looked at the grosses from the San Francisco production? It's turning a profit, but compared to the other productions it's not doing fabulously well. I can't imagine Eden or Kendra is cheap. Patty Duke probably make a pretty penny when she was there. It seems that the US production with the lowest grosses has some high salaries to pay.
what would they do after SF? Add another tour?..haha or another sit down..maybe Toronto?

IS it true they're going to put the 30 minute show in Universal Studios (Orlando) to test how it goes and then have a sit down production there? Like what they did in Japan?
She's a talented woman and good for her to have the opportunity to go back. She's getting paid to do what she loves, is that such a bad thing? How many of us stay in jobs for security?? It's not like there are a ton of new shows for her to be in.

Yes, I'm sure she had TONS of offers for other shows she was turning down
because she is independently wealthy... PLEASE. This girls career will be Elphaba so she better make all the money off it before she gets too old.
How many Elphabas have had other shows knocking down
their doors? Not many. Why? Because they are 1 dimensional. They can yell in a mic 8 shows a week.
Stephanie J. Block isn't one-dimensional.....

Nor is Kerry Ellis, or Caissie Levy.
Actually, most of the women who've played the role full-time on Broadway have been quite busy, with the exception of perhaps Shoshana Bean and the current Elphaba, Dee Ravioli.

She may get work, but she's pretty one-dimensional. Big voice, terrible actress.
