that picture is scary as hell. lol!!! u wuldnt say that was john travolta at all. i still love him tho ever since grease was released.

as Marc and others have said, Edna has not gone through big makeover or anything yet
and i personally bet that they will all be wearing mostly "drab" costumes towards the beginning, but as the movie goes on, and Tracy gets happier, and everyone gets happier, then the costumes will be more colorful, and at the end...they are all one big color spectrum
haha :P
anyhow, i cant wait for this!
i personally think Travolta could easily pass for a woman looking like that though, so congrats to the makeup, costume, and hair people! :)

Drab? Those costumes are quite authentic to the 60's. SO FAR, it seems this movie is closer to the original movie than the stage play in terms of production design. Nothing wrong with that.

woa, I'm sold. I am so happy for John Waters.
