Eli Stone on NOW!

Featuring a few Broadway veterans - Laura Benanti, Victor Garber and Loretta Devine - it's exciting to see these faces.

ABC now!

Thoughts on the show? The show has a lot of potential but the prophet/George Michael concept is bizarre.

I don't like the show so far, I'll watch it next week and if it doesn't get better then I'll probably give up on it.
Victor Garber plays a great evil boss, I have such a crush on him.
Laura Benanti is fabulous as well. I had forgotten Garber and Benanti played husband and wife in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, wonder if they have any scenes together.

I liked it! I didn't get to watch the whole thing but I enjoyed what I saw. I'll watch again next week.

I enjoyed it for the most part...found it to be odd, but I'll definitely be tuning in next week.

Laura was fab.

I loved the first episode. Just about perfect in the "quirky and different" department, for me. I'm crazy about Johnny Lee Miller anyway.

Guess I was the only one who didn't think much of it.
Laura Benanti's reaction when they won the case was so touching though. She's great. It was awesome to see her share some screen time with Garber, guess they got a kick out of that one.

My problem with the show is I don't see it making an interesting 6-season show. And the music thing just annoyed me a lot. I think I just wish the show was more magical like say, PUSHING DAISIES. Perhaps then I would be more into the whole prophet thing, as it stands, it just looks like another legal drama with a pretty feeble twist to make it "different."

Really? Because I think homeboy has not aged well at all, unfortunately. He was gorgeous in 'Hackers', 'Trainspotting', and 'Mansfield Park', but now he's just sort of schlubby and bald. Sad.

Still love him though and I hope the show gets better...

JLM certainly looks a bit older, but hot hot hot.

And anyone else get to see Victor Garber singing Freedom '90 by George Michael??? Am kinda liking this show, especially since everything else is in reruns for a while.

ABC is DEFINITELY the current go-to place of employment for Broadway folks.

I saw the first episode and that was it..I don't know, it just didn't stick.

Unless one of you convince me to watch it online, I will.

I saw the first episode, said I'd watch the following week but haven't really had the interest to see it again.
Victor Garber singing and dancing may convince me to watch it again though. I miss the days he was a kick ass CIA agent on ALIAS, this role is kinda boring.

I never watched Alias but I always wanted to. I'll keep in mind that the first two seasons "is some of the best televison ever."

I am a TV guy. There have been some great TV shows recently, but the classic sitcom is dead.

I've been re-watching Friends too! I have all 10 seasons on DVD, but I only watch the first 3-4, because those were the most memorable, most emotional, funniest ones. I remember watching the Season 1 finale on tv..I must've been 9 or 10 years old, and I cried my eyes out.

The Office may be funny, (I'm not a fan of sitcoms that makes me embarrassed for the main character, The Office / Curb Your Enthusiasm), but it's not classic. The UK version of The Office only lasted 2 seasons, and I don't see the US version lasting very long.

I am a big fan of 30 Rock..Some of the funniest stuff I've seen on TV, but season 2 has gone downhill like crazy..Again, it's just not classic/timeless!

The Gellar Bowl! With the Troll Trophy on the 2x4! and that Dutch girl. Great great episode. Classic.

The only new sitcoms I watch now, are 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, and The New Adventures of Old Christine. I thought the first season of How I Met Your Mother wasn't entirely funny, but it was emotional...it had great moments. Now it's just blah. The New Adventures of Old Christine sucks, but there aren't any sitcoms on tv!

I've also been watching reruns of The Nanny on Lifetime. I know it can be lame, but I love it!

People are gonna be throwing a fit now, because we're talking about TV on the Broadway Board. Blame the person who started the 'Eli Stone on NOW!' thread.
