Wow. This was one movie I would have NEVER thought would come to the stage. But it might be very cool!

Did I ever cry at this movie??!! Oy! This is one adaptation I can't wait to see.

One of my all time favorite movies! YAY! I wish that Jamie Bell could sing (maybe he can?!) becasue no one really could be Billy Elliot in my mind other than him...

I liked the movie but had some problems-Chopping up a piano for wood to keep warm? When did we get in a time machine to go back to Dickensian London? & the lttle girl saying she'd let him see her fanny? Fanny has a VERY different meaning in England than the North Amercian one.
But hell, it was a dance movie & I am a dance sucker every time so I hope they work these problems out!

i would think he is too old to play Billy... i hope this comes to Broadway at some point! i loved loved loved loved loved the film!!! (winks at redhot)...

That music sounds awesome, I am so excited about this musical! Aida was an amazing score with a poor book, so lets hope this one is an amazing score with an amazing book to make one hell of a musical.
