"Written in the Stars"
*tear*
Aida deserved that grammy.

No, didn't the cast recording win a Grammy? Or am I crazy?
You've thoroughly confused me. I could swear that Heather DID win the Tony, but it's been a long day, so I guess anything's game.
And OH MY "Radames' Letter." It's not so much sad as it is really heartfelt. And Adam most definitely looked RIGHT at me while he was singing that. I remember thinking "Ohmygod. WHY did you just do that?"

Ya think?
Apparently he sees more than you think from up there.

Cheyenne was EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!!! last night! What a performance!
I especially liked what he did during the last scene, when Aida and Radames are walking around the museum and glancing over at each other...Cheyenne looked at the audience and raised an eyebrow...the audience started laughing...I've seen AIDA six times and never saw that happen before and thought it was so cute...
He and Deborah (also loved her) have great chemistry.
I heard a few grumbles about "ADAM'S NOT HERE!!!!!!" before the show, but judging from the wild cheers Cheyenne got and the multitudes of people waiting for his autograph after the show, he won everyone over.
Good for him! :)
That eyebrow thing sounds SO CUTE.
I'm really happy for him... and I mean, how could he NOT win you over?
Undiscovered and I were just discussing this.... aspiringuy went to AIDA tonight (he'll post a review tomorrow) and Undiscovered says this information needs to be shared:
Adam hit "will forget" tonight!!!!!!
GO ADAM!
*dances victoriously!* yay!
And the eyebrow thing - VERY cute. glad to hear the audience loved him.
WHOO HOO ADAM!!! Can't wait to read another Adam/Aida review!

You know, I almost went. Now I'm all that much more bitter that I didn't, even though I had a really good time anyway. I think this is just me having a tough time letting go. It's so funny how we're "dancing victoriously" about this! I love you guys.
And TGITF and NNY, expect a PM from me later. I have a Cheyenne story to tell you guys.

Yay!
Regarding John, he scared me, too! My friends and I were in the third row once last year (right before Adam left the first time) and my friends were so freaked out..."HE'S STARING AT US!!!!!" I miss him, though...he was so perfect in that role!
You know who else is adorable? The Pharoah...he looks so different in his headshot!

Really? He hit the high note? Yay!
And this thread is making a comeback. That makes me happy.
edit- Can't wait for the review, and Emcee, can I hear the Cheyenne story if it's ok? I love stagedoor stories in general, even non-Adam ones.
