Adam will NOT be playing Radames in AIDA tonight (Saturday)...
But Cheyenne Jackson will be!!!
I have a question... when you met adam at the stage door, you went before the show right? What time did you get there to wait for him to come in? Because I went to see AIDA about a week ago and he didn't come out after the show, i was pretty disappointed..
Have a great time, NNY!! Tell us all about it!
Elphie, Adam tends to do that, and apparently they're telling people that if they want to catch him, they should come before the show. They say an hour and a half before curtain, but he usually gets there a little over an hour before. If it's a night show, be there by 6:30. If it's a matinee, be there no later than 12:30. Someone will ask you who you're waiting for, and they'll send him your way when he comes.

Is it still that lady with the accent? She is so sweet! I love how she directs the cast members to fans...the last time I saw it, it was just me and one other girl waiting, so a lot of people missed us and were just darting out...but that lady made sure they knew we were there.
I think so... the day I was there it was a woman, but I don't remember if she had an accent or not. Sometimes there's a guy there, too. I love that though. She stopped Adam just as he was walking in and pointed him right over to us. I felt special

I love the guy that was there the first time I met Adam. He knew I reallllly wanted to meet him. I had heard from some people who work at the Palace that sometimes he goes out a door that's just a little farther down the street than the stage door so I waited like in between those. When Adam did come out the regular stage door he came and told me and let me in front of the others waiting at the stage door. I have been at some stagedoors where people are not very eager to help so this was a great change!

I got the Aida CD. I am up through My Strongest Suit reprise. Updated On: 7/24/04 at 02:08 PM
Just trying to catch up with you guys. I'm confused (nothing new there). Where did the "Adam Club" come from? I searched the board real quick looking to see where it was mentioned (cause it seems like it came up elsewhere and it ended up here), but couldn't find anything. What are you guys up to now???

we're the Adam Club. It's just a silly name we adam lovers use.

You are, of course, included in our little group, bdwaygirl.
Listening to Fourtune Favors the Brave... I heart Adam... his voice makes me grin uncontrollably.
I dont really know where the "club" started! We just all seem to gravitate towards each other!
Insomniak - how do you like the CD so far?

I am warming up to most of the songs, but I think I'd appreciate it more if I saw the show. I plan to do the libretto reading/CD listening thing if I can find time to do it all the way through, but until then, most of it is lost to me. But some of the songs are really beautiful. I love Written in the Stars.
It really is a great cast recording. I think the only thing i skip over is Another Pyramid. That is something you have to see live to appreciate it.

Another Pyramid is the song I really don't like. But it is very good, but I really need to read the libretto to appreciate it.
It has an amazing dance break. Its one of my favorite parts of the show. The ensemble of AIDA is truly phenominal.
insomniak, so glad to hear you've gotten your hands on the CD. Do you love it?
ponine, your new icon.... *dies* But why clever?
And guys.... *whines* let's refrain from actually "naming" ourselves, shall we?
yes, i second Emcee. Plus we are just way to COOL to catagorize ourselves into a name!
Well, that and we've already managed to scare him. No more of that needed.
Oh, and photo update for those who are waiting: there's a possibility that I might get to see a show next week, so until I know if that's happening or not, I'm going to hold off on wasting those last few pictures on something useless like my foot. I'll have them soon, though. I promise.
your foot haha. That what i used to waste my pictures.
I think I got the idea from you.

You guys are wierd and I love it. *whining* We are still waiting on the scan of the CD flyer, though. And what show are you seeing, Emcee?
I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I'm seeing anything at all.... it's a long story. I'm going to scan the CD flyer. Maybe I'll do it tonight... I'll see.
I like my weirdness, too. Usually, that is.
