"Well, every time i went to see Brooklyn it got (full) standing ovation.. (i had a box seat so i could see everything in the mezz. too) I'll go next week and see what happens"

Does it really matter? I've noticed that people will stand for anything these days (pun intended). It does not need to be something special for them to get up on their feet, it's just automatic, as if it's the done thing. There was a time when a standing ovation meant something. That is not the case anymore.

"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"

Emcee...I am glad that you pointed out Karen Olivo. When I saw it here in Denver, she was the one that stood out for me the most. Loved Ramona Keller also but have to say I think I enjoyed her more as part of the Radio in Caroline.

Gah. I LOVED Ramona (and the rest of the Radio, for that matter) in Caroline. re: Emcee's BROOKLYN review.... hmmm.

QM - NOW I believe you... and I think I agree. But, then again, I'd don't think I've seen that many shows that are downright BAD.

Munkustrap - QM's right. You should go, if only just for a good laugh... when TGIF and I were walking, I was like "hey, wanna laugh? Let's go see Brooklyn!!" That's all we were looking to get.

And to all of you who mentioned Karen, she DOES look like she's having tons of fun up there, and that's so good to see. re: Emcee's BROOKLYN review.... hmmm.

Thanks to all of you who sat through reading all of that babbling of a "review."

Great review! I tend to analyze everything too. Sometimes, it gets annoying lol

Emcee, lovely review. I'm glad someone finally wrote one that was unbiased and not intentionally shilling or nasty.

Regarding overanalyzing things, I find that the more I like something, the more I try to find its faults because I wonder if it's really all I've cracked it up to be. Emcee has heard me tear down Adam several times...

I'm kidding.... yay Adam love.

But Adam has nothing to do with Brooklyn. I'm so bad!!

So... not yay Brooklyn. re: Emcee's BROOKLYN review.... hmmm.

Please get me online with the mothership now. I want Emcee back. Your clone sucks, the real deal would never resist an Adam-centric threadjack.
