....well, i like the song...reminds me of frou frou. but it doesn't sound like her...
Funky song. I sorta like it.
But she sounds so very "processed" though... like a bubble-gum Enya.

totally imogen heap....
Here's a link to her music myspace, where you can here more clips of other songs:
http://www.myspace.com/emmyrossum
Also, tomorrow on iTunes, her 3 (?) songs bundle and 15 minutes "Making of" video will be available for purchase.
Here's her CD cover...hmmm, old school Mimi much?
And her statement type thing:
“This music is who I am,” says 20-year-old Emmy. “In the movies, I’ve always felt like one piece of the puzzle. But this is all me. It’s my baby. I get to write, direct and star. And that’s the most fulfilling thing. It’s everything I’ve always wanted to do. This music is so close to me. It’s something new… You can’t categorize it."
Adds the Golden Globe-nominated actress, “I’ve never been more excited about anything. This album is about figuring out who I am. It’s the real Emmy Rossum. For the first time, I’m not speaking someone else’s lines. I feel the most open and able to express myself in a song. It’s scary because it’s all me.
She's really hammering it in that it's all her...How many times did she use the words "me" and "my"?
"This is who I am."
...a sideways version of Mariah Carey??
Emmy Rossum sings?!!?!! Who knew?!!!
I have a question. Is the album all her? She really wasn't clear.
"With a lush, sensual style, Emmy Rossum sings every note on her debut album, Inside Out, now available for purchase in-stores & on-line."
That's actually a line from the Geffen website. She sings every note? What, instead of the usual every other note? WTH.
Enya-like music, Mimi-like cover, and it's apparently "all her." Mmokay.

"Slow Me Down" definitely reminds me of Imogen Heap a lot. I actually thought it was Imogen Heap until I heard that it was Emmy Rossum. Very good song though :)

Sounds like a throw-away Imogen Heap song, only completely lobotomized. Beautiful girl and all (I'd kill to get my curly hair to lie like her's), but I'll pass.
I was going to say it sounds like Imogen Heap, as well..
I showed my 13 year old daughter the video and the first thing she said was that Emmy has a much better voice than that song. We both thought it sounded a little over-produced for her. I did like it though because it does sound like Imogen Heap and I really like Hide and Seek! mom
