I don't think you are allowed to sell a Tony Award. I will check into this but I believe they have rules that the awards cannot be sold. By Anyone.

the fact its a fake award doesn't help. the fact the inscription reads "for their musical play Kismet" is a dead give away a real award would say either musical OR play, not both. (reported)

In 1954 that is how they were presented, It has already been authenticated.

Playitagain, I believe that rule only applies to Tonys given after 1997.
