Posted: 4/8/18 at 11:00pmIs the Canadian Actors Equity, and the American Actors Equity the same? I am from Canada and hope to take my acting further in the future (try for roles in America one day) will it differ if I have a CAE card?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I believe they're not the same, but as long as you can legally work in the US, I'm sure you wouldn't have much of an issue joining American Equity. Caissie Levy is Canadian and she's doing just fine.
