Equus: Preview vs after Opening Night?

Does anyone have any advice on whether I should wait until after opening night to see Equus?

Radcliffe and Griffiths did it in London already - and those are the major roles. Although the supporting cast will be new, I don't suspect that it will be a show that will change a lot during previews. You might as well go for it.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

I figured the demand would be higher after it officially opened and when I was looking for tickets in late May, I scanned three separate Saturdays in September and October and the earliest date (Sept. 20) had the best seats.

Not sure that helps...but that was the way I looked at it.

I didn't realize that there were no Sunday afternoon shows during previews..and since that is the only day that I can be sure I won't get trapped at work...I had to opt for the Sunday performance...Anyways...I had no trouble getting great seats for 10/5 afternoon. Thanks again!
