re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

He's missed... one, I believe. A friend of mine is an usher, and she's only told me about one absence, but don't take that for absolute truth.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Emcee, it took me a good five reads to figure out what "on in the city" was supposed to be.

Applebees also has good mozerella sticks. And Avaric, check your PMs.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Still think Applebees in NYC is wierd. I know it relates to nothing, but it is not a New Yorkish restaurant. Perhaps it's been modified for you people? "Eatin' good in the neighborhood" doesn't sound very Manhattan.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

It really doesn't matter who stars it. I tell you human being really have little thing to do in that show. U/S will be just fine.

God, Emcee, I must fall in love with you(lol). I sound not like normal me.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

lol, nia. I don't even know how to respond to that, considering that this Applebee's Manhattan business is new to me.

I've heard the understudy is quite good - more of the... dashing older man type, whereas Raúl is just silly and charmingly attractive.

And I have that impact on people, sanda. re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Ah the Applebees right next to the Lion King? That one? It can be hard to miss but I walk by it quite a lot.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Wait a minute. I've been there! Must not have been very memorable.

I love that a thread about a contract is now about a restaurant. re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Applebees is alright, but not spectacular. I do like their cheese sticks.

I'm actually going to see Chitty next...Tuesday, methinks? Yes. Next Tuesday. Raul better be there, he's certainly the only reason I agreed to see the show...

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Oh yes! I remember meeting you! How fun!

I would share my picture with him, but this board confuses me. I don't know how to work it. LD

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Esparza, along with all the other leads, had to sign one year contracts.

Kudisch is leaving, but has to return for 3 additional months.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

I'm kind of surprised he signed on for that long... but pleased!

How d'ya know, adamgreer?

That's sad. He won't be up for a Tony next time around.

Emcee, I'm still suprised that he decided to do Chitty period. Good paycheck, I suppose.

I'd also greatly factor in the fact that there's no AIDS, no drugs and no dying. He seems happy enough.

Oh, and a year - that's going to cost me a LOT in student rush tickets. A lot. *shuffle*

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Aww thank you. I looked a bit rough that night.

But I do enjoy his smirk! And the fact that he remembered seeing me in the front row. It made my night. Hah.

re: Esparza's Chitty Contract

Okay, this settles it. I MUST go back to Chitty and go to the stagedoor again, and this time, Raul MUST come out.
