nevermind
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05

If oone song is repeated often enough during the show, then played by the orchestra as you exit the theatre, it will stuck in your head.

The original production of BARNUM did someting very clever. Before you even entered the theatre, there was a circus atmosphere. There was a carnival barker type doing card tricks outside the theatre, a mini circus museum in the lobby, and cast members doing juggling and acrobatics in the aisles before the show. And all throughout the theatre, recorded music was piped in - all the major songs from the show played on a circus calliope! So by the time the actual show began, you were already familiar with the tunes - you'd heard them all before!

Oddly enough I could never get "Good Morning Baltimore" out of my head. Even when the rest of the show was going on, it kept running through my head. (Probably because I spent a lot of time there visiting friends when I was the same age as Tracy).

I don't even need to see a show to hum it's tunes, I do it all the time. Yes I am the annoying girl who always hums and never shuts-up!

Of course I have - too many to mention here - but the most recent was Caroline or Change - I just couldn't get the motif that the dryer sang several times in the show out of my head...its very catchy.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Hairspray....I sang all the way home. I even tried to imitate the dancing- needless to say it didn't work.

Avenue Q - The Internet is For Porn (which is now my cell phone ringtone), Schadenfreude, Everyone's a Little Bit Racist and the list goes on and on and on [grin]. My husband and I walked back to our hotel room just singing whatever snippets we remembered from ALL of them [grin].

Toxic Audio - Turn the Beat Around, Mahna Mahna (oh god, THAT one can go on in my head for DAYS when it gets stuck up there), whatever went on during the Friday Night Jam.

OK---I hate to admit this, but....MAMMA MIA! I just kept those songs in my head forever after I saw the show! I felt very perky for about a week.

I walked out of POTO and could not get "Prima Donna" out of my head.

The Music Man, surprisingly enough. I went to see it as a surprise present and was personally surprised at how much I loved the production. Sang the whole way home.
