So I cam across this article today online. I thought it may be great to share with everyone here. This guy painted the shoes I wore in the Broadway cast of Hairspray. I thought it may be great to know and also cool if he got feedback from fans of his work. You would be surprised now when you see wicked to be like I know who created that "fancy footwork"

Whatever happened to Capezios? They were the shoe of choice for virtually all of the Broadway shows during the "Golden Years".
Capezio is still around. I know my company uses them a lot, although most of what we produce doesn't actually go to Broadway.

Interesting. The playbill usually lists the shoe supplier in the back of the playbill, but I didn't realize that they are sometimes custom painted. I'd just assumed they were ordered special.
