The new Olive Garden TV ads have a very excited and outspoken star...as the newly citizenized Italian Uncle, Dick Latessa.
No Edna Turnblat in sight or maybe she is too busy eating to chime in with his jovial rantings about being family and eating homoginized Italian faire.
Are there any other Broadway Stars doing TV commercials currently?

With his Left Coast success in The Producers in L.A. as Max Bialystock and his highly visible campaign for KFC Chicken in commercials it's hard to miss Jason Alexander a Tony winner and the current PETA poster boy whenever you turn on a TV.

Hey Mac in Laguna,

If you are in Laguna Beach, CA, I was just reading about what sounds like a must see show at The Laguna Playhouse. Harvey starring Charles Durning & Dick Van Patten will be playing there July 8-Aug 31, before it heads for Broadway.

I don't live in Laguna but I will be there for this!
