Got mine today. 2 months from now, better seats (same section, same code), 20.00 cheaper! BO guys incredibly nice - I'm quite literally and pleasantly shocked. Go in person if you can. No hassle if you're flexible with dates. Yippeee!
Good to hear they're being so accomodating. That box office staff is definitely earning their keep with this show with all the cancellations and delays.
Oh, they're used to it, and they make big money. It's the Ticketmaster "operators" who get abused on the phone by angry frustrated consumers. Anyway, be nice and hopefully you'll get what you want. Be very spceific about exchanges. Remember, it's YOUR money. You're doing THEM a favor, not the other way around.

Does anyone know if they'll give you another ticket for free if you were there last night, since the show didn't finish?
Since this catastrophe happened 7 minutes before the end -- they might give you an exchange. Basically, they "legally" don't have to do anything, once you have bought a ticket, like a baseball game, they are NOT refundable. However, for customer relations purposes, they try to accomodate..... it's all about the money, 'ya know???
I was at last night's show. Today, I got an e-mail from ticketmaster giving me two choices: Either attend a future performance at no additional charge or get a full refund (including fees). Even though I didn't see 7 minutes, I will be asking for the refund. I did not like the show at all. I actually couldn't wait for it to end.

Suprising AND interesting.
I wonder what the deal would be for those that purchased thier tix at the box office...there isn't necessarily any way to contact them.
I expected that if a patron from last nights show INQUIRED about a refund or exchange, it would be granted but didn't expect them to openly offer it.
(But I'm sure those being cancelled for tomorrow's matinee would meet with the same accomodating box office people.)
Dramamama - even if purchased w/cash at the BO, they give you a "receipt", so there's always a paper trail.
But that puts the responsibility on the consumer. How would I KNOW that they were offering refunds from last night? And if I paid CASH, I likely didn't keep the receipt.

I paid cash at the box office and didnt get a receipt. Im just going to take my ticket stub tomorrow and ask.
The "receipt" looks exactly like the real ticket itself, except that it has RECEIPT info written on it. It's tucked into the envelope also.
