Exchanging HipTix?

I bought a HipTix ticket for Indian Ink, and am not sure I'll be able to make the performance now. (I bought it before getting my second job, which is what the potential conflict is with.) Has anyone had any luck exchanging HipTix for another performance, and what did you have to do? (I am able to go to the box office, if that's a suggestion anyone has.)
Thanks for any help!

Posted: 9/5/14 at 1:48pmI just called Roundabout and was told that the only thing I can do is past date the ticket, which I don't have a problem with, but I'd rather know for sure what day I'm seeing the show.

I mistakenly thought Drood has a sunday evening show, my girlfriend and I saw Picnic at the matinee, and got a terrible surprise when we got to studio 54. I'm sure it helped that they were both roundabout shows, and when i booked the tickets for the "sunday evening" performance of drood, the woman neglected to correct me.

I don't use HipTix, but for what it's worth, I've had several very positive past-dating experiences with Roundabout. As long as the performance isn't sold out, they're usually more than happy to accommodate you, and you sometimes end up with a better seat. If you end up having to past-date, you should be fine.
