Thanks Robert! Bat Boy is one of my favorite shows! It was a shame that the off-Broadway production at Union Square didn't moved to Broadway...it was so much fun, and Deven May gave one of the best performances I have ever seen.

I bet JG was awesome in the role as well!

wow, he really doesn't!!

and like... I'm not used to him with THAT short hair :P

but anyway,this definitely makes me interested to find out more about Bat Boy! haha
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I love how people comment on his hair when the man is covered in make up and wearing prosthetic ears.

Well, I guess that's kind of expected when looking at pictures of Bat Boy. Although I must say those prosthetic ears do look very well done.

Jonathan was unbelievable in this production. Actually, this was probably one of "THE BEST" community theatre productions I have ever seen. Everything was perfect about the show, I wish everyone in the world could have seen it!

awesome! I can def believe that too, because if the rest of the cast was as amazing as him, that is NOT normal community theater calibre- that is total and complete broadway calibre :)

(and obviously I just mean in general, judging from how amazing he is in SA, and the fact that he has an unbelievably wonderful, gorgeous voice)

and I dont like that the Bat Boy recording is not on itunes, nor are the clips working on amazon. I want to hear some of the music!

Yeah, this was probably the closest to a Broadway production I have seen done by an amateur theatre group. If your ever in the Reading/Lancaster Pennsylvania area, check out "The Ephrata Playhouse", "Genesius Theatre" "Reading Community Players" and "Reading Civic Theatre". There is a lot of talent on these stages!

It looks well-directed, and everyone here has great things to say, which is why it's so jarring that he has one of the worst makeup jobs I've ever seen. It just ends at the neck. The show still looks really good, though.

Aha, Oh wow! I love seeing pictures like this of well known performers BEFORE they were well known!

While the smudged white face paint makes me cringe a bit inside, I really wish I had seen this production :)

I saw him...he was wonderful...especially in the first scene with the loincloth lol. That's the community theatre I do shows at :) makes me feel special.
