Posted: 7/20/06 at 2:46amFelicia and Lisa Brescia were as good as Sherie in Aida, I think. Just because she originated the role of Amneris, it doesn't mean she is the best, or that any of the original cast members of any show are the best. Replacements are sometimes better.

Ahh I LOVE Felicia, she's so talented. I haven't seen her live.. but from what I've "seen" and heard, she looks incredible, and I can't imagine what she must be like live. She's hilarious and I've heard from a bunch of people she's amazing to meet in person.
And I agree, I think it'd be awesome to see her as Maureen :)

oh and, I TOTALLY agree that just because someone originates a role it doesn't make them the best 
its just I really am very biased to Sherie, because I ADORE sherie. Like I said, I feel like sherie was as fitting in aida as idina was in wicked. I dont love idina in wicked because she originated the role, I just love her, and she HAPPENED to have originated the role haha. But again, I bet you anything that if I saw felicia as amneris again I would TOTALLY agree felicia was better. But sherie really did kick ass too.. hehhe.
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

haha, well the GOOD thing about these people who do this is they force us to bump all the really GOOD threads up again so yay for that!
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Posted: 8/7/06 at 5:29pmShe was the only one I didn't see when I saw the show...Nicolette Hart went on...she was good but I had my heart set on Felicia. Nicolette actually messed up in LMCH...she started the 2nd verse a beat or two too late...good thing the conductor waited for her...could've been disastrous...anyway, Felicia rocks and I was sad she wasn't there.
