Is anyone going to see Shewing-Up of Blanco Prosnit (sp?) at the Gramercy Arts on October 20? It's a one-performance-only reading of a little-known Shaw play -- and Cheyenne is playing the lead. I did a thesis on Shaw way back when, but this is one of the plays that I never got around to reading. I've ordered a copy.
I remember going into the Helen Hayes right after they opened the doors to let the crowd go into the Theater. There were maybe 3 or four people who looked "professional" taking pictures. I am also waiting for some coverage to show up.
I do have some photo's of the final curtain call but I don't want to get into any controversy thing with no photography in the theaters and what not.

I believe the professionals were doing the photos for an article to appear in a business magazine about Xanadu. I know, because I was one of the people they were shooting. I'd been called a few days before to give an informal interview; next day, they wanted to put a picture of me in the sidebar of the magazine. These people were not connected with the show.
"What I want to know is where is the final curtain call photo coverage from BroadwayWorld.com?"
That's exactly what I've been wondering!

They weren't there.
If you love XANADU, don't walk past the theater. It's back to being boring and wooden. All that is up is the main marquee. It's really sad.

I'm in NYC on Saturday for Billy Elliot -- I usually eat at Sardi's and it's going to be heartbreaking for me to see a Xanadu-less Helen Hayes. Just when I thought I'd recovered, I KNOW I'll start crying all over again. HUZZAH you glorious show!!!!!

lol... OMG. She does look like Margo Channing in that picture!
Great pics everyone, thanks for posting them...
I am so upset Xanadu closed. I had just become a huge fan of this show
And I was wondering the same thing too... broadwayworld usually does a good job at keeping stuff updated, I was hoping they would've posted pics of the last performance's curtain call by now. Does anyone else have any more pictures?

Is Mary Testa's next vehicle 'Aged in Wood.' She's got the Margo Channing hair and everything!
