leomaxfrank, all you have to do is regester with the Times to view the article. It's free and easy. That way you can read the whole paper on line. We try not to print whole articles here for a number of reasons. First there may be copywrite violations, secondly it infringes on the advertiser's revenue since you would not see any of the ads that actually paid to have the acticle printed, and that makes them very upset, and finally it's just too much bandwith to use if everyone posted whole articles that they thought people might be interested in.

Kind of embarrassing that it took a lot of the New York critics 13 years to catch up with the many things that do work in Assassins. I'm not sure any production will make it a perfect show (I'm seeing the revival next week), but it was always provocative, intelligent and moving. It never deserved the almost complete dismissal it received in '91.
