Wow....just how technical is this show !!?? Went to DAK yesterday, basically just to catch this show-
4th time trying after (2) cancellations, one time that the show was stopped after the first number, and then yesterday, the first two shows of the day were cancelled !
Finally, got to see the 3PM show---- WELL worth it !! This show right now is almost better than "MP" !
Can definitely see broadway in the future ! The score is fantastic, and the costumes and scenery are excellent- The leads (not sure of the names) of Marlin and Nemo were excellent ! Was not crazy about the woman that played Dory, but that is just some of my Ellen bias kicking in.
Well worth waiting for !

Neddy, have you seen it yet?
Testing, I hope to see it during my trip to Disney in April. SO excited.
Yeah, Neddy.... Please enlighten us----
Yeah, no way that it would ever come to Broadway-
Disney would have brought "Beauty and the Beast", "Lion King"
"Tarzan", MP", or "The Little Mermaid" to Broadway already.
We're goin back in April as well, DRS !--- Definitely worth it !
I believe right now, there are (4) shows a day-

Yes I have seen it.
I can't imagine a show that short (time wise) running on Broadway.

Really.... ya think???
Well, with a nice intermission in the middle they can stretch the time of the show out--- give the people, let's say, a full hour for their money?
Obviously, the Broadway version would not be 30-35 minutes !
Where do you think Broadway's version of "LK" came from?
Have you seen that show at "DAK"?
Come on.... you gotta have a better reason than that !

Did Beauty and the Beast start out as a show at Disney World?

Not as it is on Broadway.
It started out at Disney World as a stage show. Very short! And costumes are straight out of the movie. But I like it anyway (I've seen it like 200,000,000,000 times plus a tape my grandfather made when I was 4.)
I like that show the best!
Hey, does the theater Finding Nemo have AC?
I saw Tarzan ROCKS! there a few years ago and it was open air with NO AC.
Oh and what is it like inside?

Couldnt really tell about the AC=-- It was pretty chilly in Orlando the last few days... Its was comfortable- enclosed theater, with metal bench seating-
MINOR SPOILER ALERT:
Before the show, they have Nemo floating around in these bubbles that are part of the set--- It was kind of funny hearing the kids yell out "there he is!" everytime he appeared in a different bubble-

Well I know that, I just meant did the idea come from that. They said on Regis and Kelly that it did, but I was a little hesitant to believe them.

Maybe. I've heard the idea was around since the director of the Bway show said "That feels like a Broadway show." But it could have been part of it.
I have a friend in the Nemo show, but I am not sure who she's playing yet! I am glad you enjoyed it, and I'll tell her you liked it!
my family saw it when they were in disney and LOVED it.
nothing beats "Tarzan Rocks" for me though---> el-o-el.
Awwww I'm glad to hear the Nemo show is good.... I've heard a lot of good things about it. Definatly need to get over and see it. So sad I live less than 45mins away and I still haven't seen it!
As far as beauty and the beast goes I know the show at MGM was there before the bway musical. So I'm sure that it had a little something to do with it. Disney does tend to use the park shows at a type of out of town tryout.
Please tell me Nemo is better than Tarzan Rocks. I had the misfortune of seeing it when I was WDW and aside from the taut, toned, tanned loin-cloth-swatched body, I was completely miserable.
(Good think I like muscles. It wasn't a total waste.)
Far better (in my opinion) than "Tarzan Rocks", but my fave is still "Hunchback"
