Be In the Heights contest
Ok... so it's getting close to In the Heights being in my city. I'm in the Be In the Heights contest so I'm getting a little nervous about that. Has anyone here WON the contest? I haven't really heard of anyone and I'm starting to wonder if it's legit.

I remember about 3 or 4 months after it opened on Broadway, LBB was in Parade and said Reese hadn't seen it yet. I'm sure that if she had gone after that it would be been online somewhere.

I'm sorry but the one thing this show has done for me is that it has taught me to believe. Believe and it will happen! For all you [tossers] out there don't say, "if the show gets better sales" or "hopefully the show will get more people coming to see it." Just believe and know, the show will make it! It will happen!

The lotto has about 50 people most nights. However, if you lose lotto, they sell cheaper tickets at the box office. I lost once, but got $110 2nd row center orchestra tickets for only $45. Bring as many people as you can to the lotto to increase your chances. :)

Tracie Thoms to close Rent Broadway
It has yet to be formally announced, but Tracie Thoms will be closing out Rent on Broadway as Joanne Jefferson. She will take over the role on July 26th.

Threepenny Opera for sure! We really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. But I enjoyed it! Oh now if my mom and I know there is going to be an embarassing moment I bring one of my friends and make them sit in between.
