@ Craww: What makes you think the art is awful? Is there any one reason in particular?

Okay. It's not awful. I just don't think it's very good. It's neither creative nor stylistically simple. It's sort of an esoteric jumble between the two. I don't like the 3 shade color scheme, it's too flat.

It basically reminds me of the set and lighting design, but without the depth or creativity or concept of composition.

The font is boring. I don't actually hate the font, I think it's appropriate for the show, but it's really really boring. It looks like 10 other fonts I have, not like a unique show logo.

I agree with you. I got the discount flyer in the mail today, and it said nothing about the show.

Now, to be fair, (and let me say I LOVE this show), it's a freaking hard sell.

It's a musical about depression and a dysfunctional family.

It's also, IMO, one of the best original musicals to hit NYC in the last 20 years.

But how does one sell that? I'm not an advertising executive, so I don't know. But I agree with you, the current plan is weak.

Elphie3, in the press release they mentioned that ticket prices would be from $25-110, and the cheapest through telecharge is $36 I believe. I'd bet good money on it that those $25 are rush tickets.
