this picture..just made my day!
Cool! Do they also have a big poster hanging outside on the "rounded" part of the theatre?
From what I hear, front of house should be up by Monday.
Looks great so far!

Not yet as of yesterday. I actually posted a daytime pic on the first official thread yesterday, but the night shot looks cool.

I was just down ther an hour ago. Thee is nothing on the round part, or the overhang above the BO entrace, but they do have posters on eitehr side of the Orchestra exit of the press pictures from Arena with the names of the actors in the photos.
SO EXCITED. BO opens day after tomorrow.
Jordangirl has nicer photos in her facebook page complete with the cast photos displayed outside the Booth. Its really nice!

the picture of Aaron, Alice and Robert is a little creepy out of context.
Here is a few I took last night after work...

That's an awful tag line for the show.
It's not a play about music? It's not 33 Variations. It's just a musical. The characters don't know they're singing, that's why it's a musical....stupid.

Maybe its referring to the fact that it's almost sung completely through. Even if that were the case it's an awful tagline, though. It seems so uncreative.
I think the tag line is perfect.

^Yeah, I mean I get that it's like the meaning of that phrase/they literally face the music...but it just sounds so cliche and unoriginal. Thumbs down.
Saw them putting it up this morning around 9 but didn't get a pic until tonight...
I saw this tonight when i was going to Blithe Spirit and was so excited

I understand why they choice the phrase and whatnot, but what I don't understand - and I've posted this on other threads - is why factor music into the tag line / ad campaign. Sure, the daughter studies music, but her studying music doesn't have anything to do with the actual storyline, or any big revelations in the show. The tag line should have been about memory loss or something to that effect. This makes it seem like it's a show about Beethoven or a Von Trapp Family.

^Yeah, I totally agree. But I don't think they factored Natalie's piano studies into that decision, I think it was more based on the fact that there's little dialogue, and the music is a big part of a show. But I completely agree, it sounds like it should be the tagline for the Partridge Family musical.

And we have door art! :)

I still think the art is awful.
The photos on the door are great, though.. All creepy like.

OMG OMG OMG!!
Gah, those just totally made my day <33
They should start to advertise that great pull-quote from the NY Times when it was at 2ST.
"NEXT TO NORMAL is of real value to anyone who cares about the direction and possibilities of the American musical."
What a great quote.
@ Craww: What makes you think the art is awful? Is there any one reason in particular?
