I honestly think both of these are naturals, especially for the family audience Broadway seems to be screaming for these days. Have you approached the estate about it?

Yeah, its so hard to get a straight answer, we went through Hughes for Breakfast Club (which we kinda got permission to do or more like a 'i will turn a blind eye) but sadly he is gone. The film studios are very protective of the work (or course) and apparently a Pretty in Pink musical/stage play is already in the planning works, though we have heard that line for a few years and still not seen any evidence of it.

Breakfast Club as a musical? Interesting idea. The movie is perfection though. Just curious: Why do you think that would translate well?
