I feel like this show won’t look anything like previous productions. A show this size would cost too much to mount in today’s climate. The sets are huge and the cast is even bigger. All the costumes and staff… 42nd St is not a cheap show to produce. Although with a star or two they could probably get enough backing.

I saw this today and i had a damn BLAST! Hands down one of the better shows I’ve seen in a while.
I never made it downtown to see it, so this was my first time. I loved it and i thought it fit the space perfectly. It’s not often when all the elements align in a production, but they do here.

BOOP and Real Women seem headed towards announcing something this week. Smash is the mystery because of their deep pocket producers. But I doubt it's around past Labor Day."
