On an opera listserv I subscribe to, one partipant described seeing the Sunday evening show of FOLLIES, which a lot of actors attend on their evening off and which offers opportunities to get up-to-date with theater community gossip. The participant says he overheard two actors discussing a projected production of FOLLIES with Cerveris and perhaps Donna Murphy, directed by Harold Prince.
Has anyone else heard this?! Or is it pure Bway "urban legend"?
are you talking about LoveMusik? that's the Cerveris/Murphy musical that's coming to Broadway with Prince as the producer

Cerveris, currently giving a breath-taking performance as Kent in the Public's production of King Lear, will be starring with Donna Murphy in the Manhattan Theater Club's production of LoveMusik, directed by Hal Prince.
LoveMusik is the love story of Kurt Weill (Cerveris) and his wife, Lotte Lenye (Murphy). Alfred Uhry wrote the book, with music and lyrics by Weill and a variety of others. Also starring is David Pittu as Bertolt Brecht.

Prince is directing Cerveris and Murphy in Lovemusik this Spring. I think they were just confused.
There's only three real possibilities about another Broadway revival of Follies anytime in the next 15-20 years: (1) It won't happen, (2) It won't happen and (3) It won't happen.
